In the summer of 2008, Dj/Producer Bonafyde from Birmingham UK created Birmingham
Bassline.
This Bassline CD, which was always freely downloadable for fans, became a crucial pillar to the development of 4x4 Bassine in the West Midlands.
The mix cd brought together artists and producers from Birmingham and showcased their music to an international audience reaching tens of thousands of downloads.
